Ashley L. Triay is a first year associate at Kliztman Law Group where she specializes in asset protection, estates, trusts and business transactions. Her knowledge and passion for these practice areas come not only from her education but also her prior experience.
She received her Bachelors of Arts with a major in International Relations along with Minors in Geography and Criminology as well as Certificates in Middle Eastern Studies and Latin American Studies from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, FL in 2010.
Following her undergraduate degree, Ashley attended The Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, graduating magna cum laude in 2013. While at NSU, Ashley was a member of the Nova Law Review where she was published in 2011 for her article titled “The Effects the Bank Secrecy Act Has Had on the South Florida Banking Industry and Economy, and How the Newly Proposed IRS Regulation Would Compound Those Effects”. In her final year she was selected to complete a legal externship with the IRS.
Given her passion for the federal tax system, Ashley attended and graduated from the highly ranked Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation program at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL in 2014.
Ashley hails from Millville, MA, a small town 50 miles Southwest of Boston, MA. She now resides in Miami Lakes, FL with her fiancé Jorge and 2 year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Max. Ashley’s interests outside of the office include reading, exercising and dining out.
She was admitted into the Florida Bar in October of 2013.
